graduation and tramp!

Last week Heather and I made a flying visit to CHCH for Heather's graduation and a quick tramp (we really miss the South Island!). Here are some pics.

I got offered a job today! Woo hoo!

Hi everyone! I've been getting lots of relieving work lately and have been absolutely loving it, ESPECIALLY the Year 5/6 class I had today! I told them all about Korimako class and showed them our class photo. I hope you're all having an EXCELLENT year. Keep in touch, I'm only a message away :)

Mr Blobby is alive and well!

In fact, he met some new friends this week at a school in Tauranga and they LOVED him! I have to admit though, he's starting to look a little scary - look at his eyes!

Arrived in Tauranga!

Hey everybody! Heather and I have just arrived in Tauranga. We're staying at a camping ground until we find a house to rent. The wedding was AWESOME! I promise to post some pics soon! Have an excellent first week of school - the new teacher is VERY cool!

reading chain reward!

For every book completed, children got to fill in a 'reading chain link' which was attached to a class chain. I challenged the children to get the chain from one end of the class to the other, they did, with over 100 books completed...this was their reward!
